What is Orthopaedics?
Orthopaedics, or Orthopaedic Surgery, describes the branch of care related to the musculoskeletal system and its interconnecting structures, i.e. Bones, Muscles, Joints, Tendons, Ligaments & Nerves. Generally, there are two main forms of Orthopaedic treatment, surgical and non-surgical. A curated plan encompassing a combination of both approaches is often used to treat a patient suffering from musculoskeletal issues.
