FOUR STEP PROCESS

Step 1 Research:

When accessing private Healthcare, there are some important elements to consider. Is the organisation reputable? Do they undertake the service I require? What are the costs, and can I afford it? And am I paying myself, or would I require finance? There’s lots to consider, and we at Beacon understand this; take your time to read our website, cast a look at our service offering, our location, and reviews, etc. and bear in mind that if you require any guidance or additional information, our team are experts and are always more than happy to help.


Step 2 Book:

So, you have decided on using Beacon, brilliant! In order to book, you will need a referral from a GP to the specific service which you require; this is to ensure that the consultant we provide is a specialist in your desired field. This can be done through your NHS GP, or you can use a private GP such as one provided by Beacon (see GP services page for pricing).

An alternative route we now offer is internal triaging. If you know which service you require, based on doctor recommendations, symptoms experienced, or simply for ease of mind, let one of our team members know, and we will provide a triage questionnaire. This will be assessed by one of our in-house GPs, so please be as specific as possible.

Following the receipt of your referral or the internal triaging process, you will be asked when an appointment is convenient for you. Once an appointment is provided, a £100 booking fee will be taken via email or phone to confirm this booking. (Please note: this booking fee is taken from your final bill and is non-refundable within 24 hours of your planned appointment). If you require any guidance, please contact us, and we will guide you through the process.


Step 3 Consultation:

Following booking, if required, we will contact you and provide you with any additional information detailing your appointment. This may include what to expect on the day, any preparations you may need to make before arriving and pricing structures for the service required. If you have any special requests or requirements, please let us know prior to your appointment, and our team will try our best to accommodate. We want you to not only receive the best quality service but also a service that is best suited to you.


Step 4 Relax:

Once you have attended your appointment and had a diagnostic consultation carried out, you can be assured that the rest is being undertaken quickly and efficiently, behind the scenes, by us here at Beacon. All test results will be with you within 48 hours, and we will let you know if any follow-up is required. If you would like, we can also share any information with your NHS GP. Upon receipt of your results/outcome letter, you will receive your final invoice via email; please ensure you pay this at your earliest convenience. In the meantime, be proud that you have taken control of your own healthcare needs, and we thank you for your patronage.
